In one of my recent trips up north I had the opportunity to meet with Jamie from ESA in a release party of his new album in Sheffield. Having expressed my admiration for his latest release "The Sea & The Silence" I grabbed the opportunity to ask him a couple of questions about his new album, his tranfer from Hive to Tympanik, music, life, the scene and other relevant stuff. I am amazed by the way Jamie replied to all my questions, it is nice to know that there are such well-balanced minds out there creating music, paying attention to detail, in a scene that can offer them that much. Enter to read this very interesting interview. |

While @ Huddersfield visiting my old friend Tony Young for the weekend I had the opportunity to meet both Eva/3 and Riotmillo. Being in a nice environment and starting a face to face interview is much better than email or skype ones so I had all the time in the world to ask them about their music, their plans for the future, live shows as well as anger management and how beauty is achieved through death. It is nice to know that there are people out there who compose music based purely on their personal experiences and feelings as well as writing lyrics with the hope that people will get the message and do a change in the world. It gave me the hope that I am interviewing 2 people that still believe in the underground and that can make a change. Enjoy!! |

I am a writer and an editor for more than 8 years in various magazines and have interviewed numerous bands. It is always interesting to meet and individuals whose music I admire because I get the chance to talk about my favorite art...music. Talking with Tony Young was always interesting for various reasons and I will not hide our friendship but when we went through this interview...well that was something I never saw it coming. It began with the intention to talk about the new album and a lot of stuff actually, then alcohol came in, then Clint (Synnack) came in and then..........Sex, Emo, PINK PVC, the role of Iphone in the music industry, how ESA came to life, how important MACs are.....all these crucial questions will be answered. Well I never knew if this would see the light of day or lets say the world of the internet, but since we all decided to publish this I have to warn you for 2 things. First of all this is not an ordinary interview and secondly DO NOT ENTER IF YOU ARE NOT 18 YEARS OLD. |

Zombie Girl is a Canadian born project, located in Edmonton, Canada. Dont let that fool you, the people behind Zombie Girl are experienced musicians and vocalists. With many years of experience in music making and production. The music can be described as electronic dancefloor music, with elements of rock'n'roll and good old horror movie themes, with a touch of humour. It is pumping, grooving and tremendeaously lead by the sexy and captivating vocals of Renee C. Komor. Renee is the voice, body and spirit behind Zombie Girl. Her husband and partner Sebastian R. Komor ( Icon of coil ) is the zombiefied male behind the music and most of the lyrics, is from Norway. Zombie Girl is signed to Alfa Matrix label. Their latest release Blood Brains RockN Roll met great success and gathered positive reviews around the world. After almost 6 years Vassago finds the opportunity to talk again with Seb (and Ren) about their plans, his past and present releases, illegal downloads and a lot more. |

It only took 2 self-produced singles (..Disconnection.. and ..E-Race Generation..) to conquer the music world, spread their sonic virus through the net and build up a very strong, expanding and eclectic fan-base. By developing a strong and alluring imagery concept and merging apparently opposing genres, HELALYN FLOWERS are bound to become the leaders of a Nu-Electro Rock wave that will shake the foundations of all preconceived musical standards .. let them be electro or metal. Vassago took the opportunity and chatted with these two beautiful people (N0emi and Max) few months before their official debut release... |
