After his success with Zombie Girl, Icon Of Coil or yet Bruderschaft, renown producer Sebastian R. Komor strikes again with his new hard-hitting guerrilla project – something he really had to get out of his system! The heaviest project he’s ever done, KOMOR KOMMANDO is definitely aggressive and loud laden with a cynical sarcastic flair and wit. Pounding rhythms to assault your senses with a bit of a cheeky humour and socio-political bite to it. 100% club hit guaranteed – including the floor-packing Das Oontz, Love Your Neighbour or yet Triggerfinger. Komor Kommando has set the sights of attack on the world of hard upbeat electronic power industrial with one sole target: domination and provocation. |

Andy LaPlegua found time while on his recent tour to assemble his newest effort, 'Heat EP: All Pain Is Beat'. Featuring remixes by the likes of VNV Nation and Assemblage 23, 'Heat EP' will be available in three corrosive flavors. The CD and digital versions will contain six tracks, while the 12” Maxi Single will house three tracks on a red buzz saw shaped vinyl. Combichrist’s momentum is growing stronger day by day – join the army or get out of the way. |

A trademark opening for a highly anticipated release; Pitches of bass rise and fall carrying wave upon wave of beats that threaten to trip themselves up but catch themselves before they fall letting the lush synthetic melodies ride over the top of it all. As usual this is a seamless affair. Space is all but left out between numbers as Ale once again grabs the listener on yet another of his journey’s. |

SCHWARZBLUT were unknown to me till the day I received the promo copy of Sehlenwolf which is a 5 track Mcd acting as a teaser for their future full length debut album titled "Das Mausoleum" which is expected later the year. Rumours claim that this is a mix of pounding EBM/industrial and lush orchestral arrangements with German lyrical poetry from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Ludwig Tieck or Friedrich Rückert. To get straight to the point I do not know what is worse these days, me getting older or Alfa Matrix releasing albums like this one. |

Tympanik Audio is proud to announce the release of Stendeck's new album 'Sonnambula'. Combining epic synth patterns with stunning piano movements and a subtle dose of distorted rhythmic beats, Stendeck's long-awaited new album ‘Sonnambula‘ injects an air of originality and purpose that will both inspire and move you to elated heights. With one astounding song composition after the next, 'Sonnambula' conjures up the true ingredients of intelligent electronica, driven by distortion-tinged beats, soaring synth-lines, and modern classical elements that spew emotion from every surface.
This is without a doubt Stendeck's finest hour. An instant classic... |

In one of my recent trips up north I had the opportunity to meet with Jamie from ESA in a release party of his new album in Sheffield. Having expressed my admiration for his latest release "The Sea & The Silence" I grabbed the opportunity to ask him a couple of questions about his new album, his tranfer from Hive to Tympanik, music, life, the scene and other relevant stuff. I am amazed by the way Jamie replied to all my questions, it is nice to know that there are such well-balanced minds out there creating music, paying attention to detail, in a scene that can offer them that much. Enter to read this very interesting interview. |

I was very curious indeed to see how this album would turn out considering this is from the same stable as Karlos from the prolific ‘Manufacturer’. Safe to say the label this act has found its home with kinda dictates that this won’t be something in the same vein as his other works, so then no surprise as light tones and rich IDM ambiences filter through over glitches and sub bass undercurrents, with ‘Tender Bites’ pretty much living up to its title. |

So here we are with the second ESA album of the year (in reality the last one was just released late by Jamie’s previous label and had been written some time ago previously) and what a dramatic change we have in store. Now ESA has firmly found its home amongst the swelling ranks of Tympanik Audio and it seems with this label swap has come a breath of fresh air with regards to musical approach and all round image shift. ‘How Pure Would Your Utopia be’ was a very clever album, and generally that was a failing as well as a blessing. The album was great but not one I would put on so often as more attention was paid to the technicalities over the music itself. |
